Matthew McQuaid is an Audio Systems Engineer specializing in the design and deployment of large-scale sound reinforcement systems. Proficient in both traditional and immersive audio formats, he brings technical versatility to projects across a wide range of environments. He has executed shows in more than 60 countries, delivering exceptional audio experiences to some of the world’s most discerning listeners. With credits that include more than a dozen shows at the Tokyo Dome and performances in many of the world’s most prestigious stadiums, arenas, and event centers, McQuaid has established a reputation for technical excellence on the global stage.

His touring experience includes work with internationally acclaimed artists such as Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Billie Eilish, and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. Recognized as one of his generation’s leaders in the audio industry, he is known for his commitment to continuous improvement and the highest standards of sonic quality.

McQuaid holds a BA in Audio Arts & Acoustics from Columbia College Chicago and an MSc in Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, uniting technical mastery with informed management judgement.
